1. AはBです – “A is B”
   • 私は学生です。(Watashi wa gakusei desu.) → I am a student.

1️⃣ Sentence Structure (Basic)

2️⃣ Particles (助詞 – Joshi)

🔹 は (wa) – Topic Marker

Marks the topic of the sentence.

• Example: 私は学生です。(Watashi wa gakusei desu.) → I am a student.

🔹 が (ga) – Subject Marker

Used to highlight the subject, often with emotions, abilities, and existence.

• Example: 猫が好きです。(Neko ga suki desu.) → I like cats.
• Example: ここに本があります。(Koko ni hon ga arimasu.) → There is a book here.

🔹 を (o/wo) – Object Marker

Marks the direct object of a verb.

• Example: りんごを食べます。(Ringo o tabemasu.) → I eat an apple.

🔹 に (ni) – Time & Direction Marker

Used for specific times, destinations, and indirect objects.

• Example: ８時に起きます。(Hachi-ji ni okimasu.) → I wake up at 8 o’clock.
• Example: 学校に行きます。(Gakkou ni ikimasu.) → I go to school.

🔹 で (de) – Place of Action Marker

Indicates where an action takes place.

• Example: 図書館で勉強します。(Toshokan de benkyou shimasu.) → I study at the library.

🔹 と (to) – “With” or “And”

• Example: 友達と映画を見ます。(Tomodachi to eiga o mimasu.) → I watch a movie with my friend.

4️⃣ Common Grammar Patterns

🔹 ～が好きです (ga suki desu) – “I like ~”

• Example: 日本語が好きです。(Nihongo ga suki desu.) → I like Japanese.

🔹 ～が欲しいです (ga hoshii desu) – “I want (a thing)”

• Example: 新しい車が欲しいです。(Atarashii kuruma ga hoshii desu.) → I want a new car.
