Materials management is a very common term used in manufacturing. It is the process that organizations use to plan, organize, and control the steps they use to manage tangible/real (বাস্তব ) components within its business processes. For example, an organization that manufactures cars needs to purchase wheels, engines, and windows.

Materials are usually classified as either direct or indirect materials. Direct materials are those that are required for a finished product, while indirect materials are those that do not directly generate the final product.

Material Management has two parts (External Procurement Purchasing) and (Internal Procurement Production)

•Invoice Receipt 
•Internal and external accounting


Process of Internal Procurement Production
•Goods receipt
•Warehouse management 
•Goods issue /Transfer posting 
•Sales and distribution
•Internal and external accounting
